If you're going to tell me that living at the bottom of the sea is a giant sea slug going by the name of George, I'm going to shrug my shoulders and tell you that your belief is stupid but you're free to be as deluded as you wish.

But if you then tell me that you know what George wants, and that he wants me to only eat cucumbers for the remainder of my life, then since this now impacts me, I'm going to want some evidence from you that:

a) George exists;
b) You know what George wants;
c) You're not clinically insane.

If you want to plan how I run my life, show me the evidence. If you want to plan how others run theirs, or restrict their rights as equal human beings because of your deity of choice's "laws" then you're going to have to demonstrate a lot more than simply faith, buddy!

Okay, so that's not really about me, but hey, it's my blog, so go suck on a cucumber.
